Upcoming Research Workshops

  • 2008 Summer Research Workshop: “Emergent and Challenging Issues in Rock Physics:  Rock this House!” proposed by Mark Kittridge, Tad Smith, and Keith Katahara, A. Cheng, it will include aspects of the topic “Shale petrophysics & seismic geomechanics”

  • Post-convention workshop organize by the SPWLA/SEG (also possible for 2008 Beijing as in China well logging and GP are couple). The topic selected for the post-convention workshop is “Recent advances in resistivity logging tools and their business impact”

  •  "Popular advances in exploration geophysics topics" in support of the IGY and EGY, workshop or special event
